Washington, DC, December 1, 2022 – From 1 pm to 5 pm, Jonathan C. Shoemaker, Joseph W. Cooch, and Paul E. Knupp, III presented the 28th Annual Review of Legal Decisions Affecting Architects and Engineers at the District Architecture Center. During the course of the program, the team at Lee/Shoemaker PLLC reviewed over 40 legal decisions issued over the past year in cases involving design professionals, and identifying practical “lessons learned” from those cases for incorporation into practice. Additionally, Jonathan, Joe, and Paul shared their insights into trends and developments related to contract negotiation, risk management, and transition planning.
