Jonathan C. Shoemaker, Paul E. Knupp, and Joseph W. Cooch look forward to presenting this annual seminar, reviewing legal decisions from across the country that affect Architects and Engineers and identifying “lessons learned” to apply to your design practice. Each year since 1994, James F. Lee, Jr., founding member of Lee/Shoemaker PLLC, has presented this program highlighting the challenges faced by design professionals and practical solutions for managing those risks.
On December 1, 2022 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, Lee/Shoemaker will continue this tradition, with a twist. After 27 years of presentations, Jim is ready to join the gallery and ask the tough questions. Jonathan, Paul, and Joe will present the case material discuss the lessons that should be learned from the legal decisions, while Jim pushes the presenters to tackle difficult questions and provide insight into how these lessons can be applied to your practice.
