Washington, DC, July 21, 2021 – Paul E. Knupp, III and Dalene A. Radcliffe presented “Negotiating Design Contracts: Minimize Risk to Maximize Profit” to the membership of AIA|DC today, sharing their insights on effective strategies for architects seeking to fairly and equitably manage the risk of providing professional services. Drawing upon their experience, both negotiating contracts and litigating disputes involving design contracts, Paul and Dalene identified potential pitfalls presented in design contracts and suggested different approaches for addressing those risks.
