January 10, 2022, Washington, DC – Paul E. Knupp, III and J. Scott Shannon of Lee/Shoemaker PLLC presented “Mitigating Risk in Design Contracts” to the Emerging Leaders Institute of ACEC-Metropolitan Washington. During the course of this program, Paul and Scott reviewed the important risk transfer provisions included in design contracts, analyzed the risks associated with provisions, and identified strategies for mitigating those risks.
