October 17, 2024, Washington, DC – J. Scott Shannon and Curtis Orshoski of Lee/Shoemaker PLLC presented, “Demystifying the Claims Process,” at the 2024 Maryland Engineering Conference presented by the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers. During the course of the presentation, Scott and Curt reviewed how a “claim” is as defined by standard profession liability policies and reporting occurs, what is covered under a standard professional liability policy, and what strategies should be considered when working toward an acceptable claim resolution.
