Washington, DC, May 17, 2022 – Today, James F. Lee, Jr. participated on a discussion of The Champlain Tower Collapse with Glenn Birx, FAIA and Daniel McKelvey, AIA of Ayers Saint Gross on a national webinar for the AIA Trust, attended by nearly 1,000 architects from across the country. During the program, the panel reviewed how the collapse occurred (from a technical perspective) and the claims asserted against design professionals (from a legal perspective) in order to provide practical guidance for architects regarding the risks presented when work on, or adjacent to, an older structure.
